Oct 2011 - continue part 2

Had we lose this friend it would hv been like losing a sister! Wendy invited us to resorts world to stay in festive hotel n we had such a wondrous nite spent that we almost didn't want to leave!!


Where to find someone who really treats us like we are part of her family n yet asked nothing in return! We bonded with her family till wee hours n dixon's mom even feed Lucas breakfast in the morning!!!

We had so much fun there were simply too many photos to be shared but ermmm.. Better not flood my blog!




Lucas is like bella's son and recently i even overheard bella saying that Sherman commented "let's give birth to a boy like lucas!!!" u know how honored that comment was!!! I can feel that the family really dotes on him so much!!




The shame of the day was Xavier had fallen sick due to overnights of playing xbox kinect - a special Gift from hubby for Xavier's birthday and to celebrate "PSLE IS FINALLY OVER!" it's a pricey gift but it's money well spent for a
Boy who truly loves us like his own family! From a lousy experience I learnt that true family members are those who never start calculating with u and never expect anything in return. Those who plot n scheme To take away what belongs to u and does not have second thoughts on sacrificing u for business are not the ones u wanna stick to nor with. Children are the innocents ones and they can tell who is true and who is pretentious. In fact adults are the ones who cannot even make up who is fake n pretentious and even give up money for siblings. These are not family. But it's ok. We learn along the way of life and as Long as we brave ourselves to the disgusts of life, we always can get through it as time goes by. As they always say, when one door closes, there will be another door that will open. How true! Wendy is the one who is behind the second door!




October is certainly the month to celebrate! There is so much love and happiness going on that's it's such a shame it's going to be over!


Just a few days ago, Lucas colored something great but only for one page, nonetheless it had already made my day filled with joy!

Finally...October 2011!

Gosh! How time zoom by!
It's my darling lucas's 3rd birthday in October!

I really ran out of ideas on how to celebrate a young handsome boy's birthday when he have so few friends who are really close to him but it's by love that we managed to celebrate it in many days and many ways!

Let's see!


We started the morning to downtown east where toys r us were having their first day of private sale so Lucas went for his toys spree with dad n mom!!!



Then an awesome lunch...



Then immediately home to remove all the boxes and ready for playtime with NEW toys!!!

Dinner with papa n mommy again... Papa shared his imaginary "earthworms" aka noodles with Lucas, slurping away happily!!!

After another round of shopping for Xavier tor tor's birthday present, i went to Swenson to get a special 3 layer ice cream cake for my special boy! Design? Hint: Lucas papa recently introduced Lucas to a movie about fish... The movie is called "Nemo!"

Did you see Lucas grinning from ear to ear throughout the time we sang him the birthday song? ;)

Me Says to Lucas: mommy got to sleep outside tonite cos mommy is not feeling well. Mommy is coughing.

Lucas: okies. Good nite 宝贝！

me: good nite I love u!

Lucas: (jump to me n making me carry him) thank u for taking care of me. I love u mommy!

Beautiful day

Lucas is approaching his 3rd birthday soon.

How fast time flies! It just seem like yesterday when I gave birth to him at MA hospital.


I am so missing him now cos yesterday nite he stayed t bella's place. A nite out :)

I know he loves yimama a lot and always wishes to be with xavier n jewel. Since i will be bz this morning, there is no reason to drag him out. Moreover he is recoverin from diarrhea so its cool to be with bella! But i miss him so much!

End Term

For the first time, Lucas performed without crying for me! Yeah! Big boy now!

Today

Today we went to serangoon central to eat dinner.

The coffeeshop have two specialty. One is the sliced fish soup who is always n forever having queues! You can have the choice of having milk n alcohol in the soup. I ordered one with just milk n no alcohol for Lucas. When I tasted the soup, omg! It was so good I have already reminded me to keep coming back here!

The second specialty right now is the western grill. Hubby order black pepper steak and ribeye for himself. Why a specialty stall? Cos the fries was special with pasta sauce poured over it n it tasted absolutely superb!!! Both steaks were ordered medium rare and we never had a hawker stall done it perfectly for us - always overcooked by the time it reaches us - but this time around, we had the best medium rare steaks at the coffeeshop! The medium rare steaks were done absolutely perfect to medium rare's cooking and best of all, it's really juicy!!! Super duper max max yummy!!!!


Hubby chose two sides but both veggies : one is coleslaw and the other salad. The coleslaw is again very tasty and nohing less delicious than what u can find in any fastfood nor any small to medium scale restaurant!


The salad is a little disappointing as the sauce is not fantastic and its not super cold. But overall, i will still chose the salad again for healthy living sake!!


The main comes with a side - chicken or beef pie.


It was actually mashed potato with a thin layered of pasta sauce with tiny meat. It was very special and i would say the potato in it was tasty with a tinge of uniqueness in this. If ordered as an ala carte, that itself cost $3.90! The steaks range from $12.90... Easy on the pocket for awesome steaks like theirs!!


Really impressive to me!!!

Definitely n a must to go back again really soon!!!
