Lucas love bathin

Bathin Lucas brings back alot of memories.. From the first time his grandma bathed him to the days when he refused to sit down to bath, bathin time is a ritual I will never let any of my maids do on my behalf. Only immediate family members n mummy's privilege :)




The first time Lucas got bathed by grandma, I was totally at a loss of what to do. Prepared a small tub of water and the other necessities such as towel, powder, ruyi ointment, diaper, baby rash cream, clothings. Grandma bathes Lucas very quickly as autumn was ending and it's gettin cold in states. The hardest part was.... Clothings! Lucas was born small size and the clothes I got him was like for newborn and he was too small for it! He could wear preemies but I only had rompers for him and it was cold so got to wrap him up in many layers!




Then we were back in Singapore N luckily Bella insisted that I can so I did bath him very successfully as a proud mummy!!

Then come the days when he refused to sit down to bath so maid came into the pic to help.

There used to be days when papa bathed Lucas routinely at nite before sleep. Then papa complained of backache due to sitting on low stool then he stopped.




Nowadays bathin Lucas gives me a complete different experience as mummy. I still sing my songs but now got to brush his cutie little 7 pearls. And sometimes he give me a little surprise - latest surprise; he lifted the small red pail and scoop water out from the bath tub and with all his might, pull out the pail and pour my precious "wash floor or water the plants" water!!

This super baby boy is none other than my first precious mini Cheng cheng Lucas!

Who Invented PC?

He/She created this PC that now our lives are so involved around it.

My life have been changing because of you. You helped me in many ways in my life:

- I dont have to vent my anger on my husband. If I am really upset and no one is ready for me, I can always kick you.. thank you for not complaining.. do you remember my kicks about 10-12 years old.. it was more vigorous and strong

- I have to reduce the amount of sleep I could have and this could lead to an earlier death in a silly report from an email forwarded to me.. I play games, work, type my resume, pour out my happiness and sadness, hunt for the silliest things in life.. seen the most ridiculous stuff in this world, the ugliest and the prettiest things/human anyone could ever seen..You are awesome..

- I can now print out pics of myself, my son and my family and friends and keep thinking about the good times when the present is most important : so i am wasting my life away becos of you.. TQ hur hur..

- I can be  at my happiest but be transformed into a monster becos of you when the memory is making the pc operate very slowly, when the scanner / printer supposedly to be working dont work suddenly and especially during urgent times...

So all in all, YOU CHANGED MY MOODS and YOU GREATLY AFFECT ME EVEN THO YOU ARE NOT AROUND.. See.. you are so awesome.. you dont have to be here to be in our lives.. but yet every moment, almost every seconds, we revolve around you.. you area AMAZING...

Julia Gabriel's Holiday Class

Its a week since we last joined the holiday class at J.G.
The program only lasted for 1 week for Lucas.

Its quite fun but can be quite boring as the lessons are very structured and yes, thankfully systematic.

The typical lesson for the day goes like this:

- Start off with 10mins of playtime... (cant the kids play at home already- waste money)

- Sing Songs (introduction songs and welcoming songs)

- Introduce an item (the week's theme is to the birdpark so they intro different types of birds in the form of a soft toy or a puppet).. then they will spend time going to every child to show them the item

- Read a book

- Activity time (art n craft etc)

- Wash hands

- Snack Time

- Playground

- Sing Songs

Go home...

See? Every structured.. can be very boring to what I see.. but its better than staying at home AND not doing anything... SO.. i am going to plan next week's home program for Lucas.. I need stretchbook (papa just called to say he will be getting).. Everyday for 1 week, i am going to let him play with the paint and stamp something on the stretchbook.. hmm.. this should be fun.. lets hope xavier n jewel can come along to stay next week...  i remember karen (sis) used to let junjie play with paint too.. then maybe for playground time.. i can let lucas learn how to drive his walk n stride toy.. sigh.. tis boy just have his own mind of things.. refusing to sit on it for more than 3mins!

A New Mummy's Life

many a times, i feel that being not working, i am getting yellow-er and yellow-er.. so its very common to see me all dressed up and in full make up on even at home.. i am a home maker.. not a housewife.. i have a maid so i am definitely NOT a housewife.. haha..


today as i was putting on my make up, i was visualizing how i could put up a video on how a housewife, OPS CORRECTION, a homemaker can also be pretty everyday.. in just 5-10mins.. i am a super fast makeup person. The only days i take 1 hour to make up is when i need to go for events, dinners etc.. for very official and important occasions..

Every lady should "Trim your eyebrows"! Not too thin (that era long time over liao!), not too thick... make sure you get someone really pro to shape it up for you for the first time then you maintain it.. So is it pluck or shave? Plucking away your brows is super painful! Unless you have super tolerant for pain and you wanna feel pain to be "in heavens", if not, just shave it lar.. i mean the shape. It is faster, easier and more dangerous. Cant have the best of both worlds right? Alternatively, for me, i go to a beauty shop at Bishan to "tattoo" it.. hmm.. maybe its not tattoo, its just dotting of colors on it.. they shape it, i maintain it with shavers!


So for now, shave shave shave your eyebrows!

A Whole New Blogging Life

This is the start of a beginning.. so lets see.. i will be updating stuff about myself, kizzofgoddess, my family and lucas and of cos, my dearest friends.. and OPS! my tiny little gossips here and there..
