Cny 2012
For once, we forgot to visit the temples this year!!! Well, anyway the rest are as usual.

We had two awesome days with my in laws n one whole day to my side! Ate too much... Oh dear! Going to grow so fat!!!

Child separation anxiety continues
It's the second week of the year.
I am having my second week of child separation anxiety. Gosh! Being a mom is no feat!
First we Hv to grow attached to the child to love them. Then we managed n live. Unconditional love n efforts to take care of them. See them everyday. Then in a couple of short years, they have to leave you for a couple of hours to school. In no time, they will leave you for full 6 hours in school.. Then more!
Well that's life! Take your grab n hold on tight!
Today I am finally doing the detailed scan. It's a joyous n scary scan. Why? First they will more or less confirm the gender then they will tell you the risk of your child being normal or abnormal.
Gosh!! I am so scared! Need a lot of courage!! A lot of what if ... Please pray for me!

It's another boy!

Old school behaviour
Lucas = L
Mommy aka me = M
L: I want mommy to stay outside the school and don't move.
M: ok
L: I want mommy to sit beside me
M: look there r no mommys sitting beside the children in the school
L: there is a boy who have mommy sitting beside him one time
M: look the school don't want the boy so u don't see the boy anymore.
In the new school, I don't meet this problem but here at mrs Sam... I wonder if it's because the teachers are very stern here and that's why Lucas keep finding excuses. But I see the improvement so he have to continue here...
M: it's good for you, Lucas.

Child separation anxiety continues day 2.
First it's sleep separation refusal in the morning.
Mommy Hv lots of adaptation to work with at every stage of a child's life. What is the best thing to do to work on these adaptation?
I guess it's either work super hard or sleep. I chose the latter. What about you? ;)
It's not easy too alright. While trying to sleep these comes to my mind:
Is he sleeping on the school bus?
Will he be sleepy?
What will he be doing?
Is it boring?
Is he hungry?
Will the road be bumpy?
Did he drink water on the bus?
What is he going to eat on the bus?
It's not easy being sane while the boy is suddenly not with you for 5 hrs from u from the time he gets up the bus. He has always been with me except on days for enrichment like max 3 hrs at mrs Sam, 1.5 hrs at apple plus. N now it's extended to 5 hrs!! Gosh.. I am gg to take my nap now... The heart is pumping hard due to missing Lucas. My boy.. Maybe we shan't go to school!!! Arghhhh... What a dilemma.. He will go to school some day. If its not this year, then it's next. Even if we skip kindergarten 1, there is always a kindergarten 2. Then that's the primary school.. It's never ending.. If I don't start now, he may not be able to catch up with his peers. So ok let's go to school n have fun!!

First day in N2 - 2012
Jitters for mommy to wake up at 6am. Literally dragged myself up and bathed to freshen up. It's my boy's first day in a new school!!
He is doing great on the school bus and I am not surprised cos have been talking to him about behaving on the school bus!
He told me - mommy, my school bus is like a van but its a school bus!
I told him they used the van as a school bus.. :) then I told him - yimama says u must behave in the bus ok! Lucas replied - look, I am behaving! :)
I hope he is doing great!
